I'm also a permanent noob. Hi all and Merry Christmas. Thanks to the folks at POTN my bank account is a few $K lighter.

Some calls me Roberto and others calls me Jun. Take your pick.

Hello. My name is Todd. I just joined today. I am from Iowa. I am a self-taught photographer. I started out in digital photography but now I am trying to learn film. I have one digital camera (Canon EOS Rebel XSi) and two film cameras (Canon EOS Elan IIE and a Pentax K1000SE). If you want to know anything about me, please feel free to ask. I do not always know what to say.

Welcome to POTN Todd.:) You've got some great cameras there. That Elan IIE has Eye Controlled Focus Point Selection. This is a great feature that some of want to bring to DSLRs. Learn how to use it and you'll LOVE IT! But be warned, if you get addicted to it, it's not yet available on DSLRs.

I do not actually use the eye-controlled feature on it. It's kind of a new camera to me so I am still trying to get used to it. Is this forum strictly about digital photography or is there film photography sections as well?

Try it, you'll like it!;)

I'd guess that POTN is about 98% digital(read: modern), but look around and you'll find a few film threads. Try the search feature, it comes with the price of admission.
