These are also from my trip to the Keys, they're from Little Duck Key (Seven Mile Bridge)

As far as I know these are 'ruddy turnstones' in winter plumage (but not 100% sure.) Am I correct?

A wonderful set, Gabe. Great IQ in all and can't beat that low angle!

Superb shots, Gabe! What is your low angle technique? Do you have a tripod or a DIY plate with a mount screwed on, or something like that, or is the camera just hand supported?

If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.

Thank you guys!

Scrumhalf, my low angles shots from this particular trip all came from the 70D, tilt and swivel screen open and angled upwards (90 degrees) + live view AF. This pretty much revolutionized my low angle shooting, and I just realized it this trip :)
The dual pixel AF is quick and very accurate, I can hand-hold the lens inches above the ground and view the lcd and shoot away.
The only drawback is that holding this 7-8 lbs rig for a couple hours caused some major muscle soreness afterwards, but it was worth it ;)

Great idea, Gabe! And I was thinking that you were lying on the ground sniper style, getting dirty and muddy! I wish I had a flip out tilting LCD screen on my bodies.
