Equestrienne Archery:

My daughter-in-law riding her mare and shooting with her bow in the front yard at their suburban home in central Georgia.

Shot with a 7D at 59mm, 1/1000 sec, f/2.8, ISO 100. Post-processing in PS CC using Nik tonal contrast to achieve HDR-type look.

I currently have a really good copy of the mkI version and I recently hired a mkII to evaluate on a recent landscape workshop. I have to say that it's a fantastic lens, but not really worth the money if you already have a stellar copy of the mkI! A great lens but not much benefit over a mkI
These were taken with the hired mkII

I love this lens very much! It's so sharp and versatile. I don't need to switch between lenses and shoot with 2 cameras. Follow the link to watch the slideshow. All shot with this lens. I also like the bokeh at 70 mm. https://vimeo.com/82897471 (external link)

[QUOTE=David Arbogast;16557132]^Beautiful Capitol Building shots snoop! :)

Great shot. Reminds me of lake geneva.
The 24-70 ii is certainly a sharp lens.

More Sony goodness... I see lots of people picture up this camera but keeping their canon setup, interesting.

Gear List

If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.
