I remember THAT in the news. The shop owners ended up taking care of that themselves because the city never made it out there to clean up the mess.

SFgate posted someone's photo very similar to this one. Around noon, the security guards for the shopping complex on the corner brought a forklift and rotated the tree so it was flat against the curb to clear the street. I thought the city came out later and removed it.
