That is an awesome image. Ceasar's, right? Did you use a tripod on that? Did they let you set up right in the lobby without any issues?

We were just in Vegas a few months ago, the Chihuly glass flowers are at the Bellagio. Nice shot of them btw.

I just ordered mine. I'm basing my purchase on everyone's stellar reviews.

Have a question or two for you guys. I've been cruising through all 400 pages of this thread the last few weeks and the yearning for this little lens is getting almost irresistible. So I did a little reading about super wides and how to use them. It showed me that there is definitely a mindset and rules to be employed when using these kind of lenses to produce the kind of results I'm seeing here.

So here's the question. How many of you bought the lens and found it difficult to master? I don't mean master like a pro but to consistently produce results you liked?

I'm gaining excitement to explore this new focal range...but i need some help in my expectations.

Thanks!

Jim

Going through all the pages on this thread I must say I'm sold on this lens. I found a good deal for a used one and I'm going to go ahead and buy it.

By the way, ShotOfGod, I love that shot of the Colosseo.

Nice shot and great depth of field! Do you remember the settings and especially where you focused for the shot?

I would like to know that as well, and how close you were to the FG. I have had some trouble with the 10-22 where the objects in the FG have been OOF even though I was at F11 or something like that. It is possible I was too close but not sure.

Gear List

If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.
