Hello All... Been AWOL from the thread for a while but glad to see that everyone is still posting away.

I'm after some info on monitor calibration - Any recommendations on what to use to calibrate a MacBook screen and external monitor. Looks like a Spyder4 Pro might be what I'm after but any comments would be gratefully received. I know Mr. B is experienced in this area, but happy to hear from anyone 'in the know'.

hi mr Paul, good to see your still about young man, the spyderpro is a very good product and will do you fine, the one I like is the x-rite i1Pro but I get to use them free from work as they are a bit on the pricey side...

Well this year has been a strange old year for me, I've taken well over 35,000 photos this year between the 14 weddings I've done, kingfishers, little owls, kestrels, deer, more deer, water voles, lots of bugs, various birds, hares, George, fireworks and of course the 11,000 photos I took in Kenya and to be honest I can't even begin to pick a fav, so I hope I haven't bored you all with to much Bridger spam this year..

What ever you do tonight have a great time folks, Happy New Year!

Sounds about right. That is the nature of that particular beast...

That is why if you go down the stock route Stocksy, which I mentioned a while back, may be a better option for you.

Thanks Sly, I'll have another look at them - I think I applied and got rejected!

Thanks Mark. Yep, I'm still about and will hopefully have a bit more time to keep up to date on here in the new year. Just had a look at the x-rite, but if the Spyder does the same job for less $$ then I think that'll be the way to go.

***HAPPY NEW YEAR*** to you all
