The dude on the left is freakin' ripped and the dude on the right is probably still down! WOW! They are probably both equally ripped, it's just that you can see all his muscles tensed at the moment of impact. Joel

No guarantee that was a KO either, few inches lower and probably! Actually the guy on the right won by a unanimous decision. Jan 04, 2014 17:49 | #1259 It's hard to say if this guy is going to be in pain, but he's definitely about to take a beating. This particular swell in Southern California (about two years ago) was bigger than it looks, and there were sometimes six to ten waves per set. This guy will be busy for the next ten to fifteen minutes if he thinks he'll be able to just paddle back out. Plus, this spot is up against a lot of cliffs and rocks. Hope you can hold your breath a while. When a wave this size pitches, and the lip is about a foot thick, and the water is about 52, this is probably not the best place to be. This guy is about to get hammered. And finally: I was eating a doughnut while parked in the car. Loud voices caught my attention and I instinctively aimed my camera. It was a split-second too soon, but you can clearly see what's about to happen, and judging by the look on this dude's face, so can he. These were two local homeless people in San Diego that didn't see eye-to-eye (literally) on this particular morning. He should have known better than to provoke her from a defenseless position. I wish I would have shot this a split-second later (as mentioned), but it happened so fast, and then he stood up and walked away while uttering a few choice words. Check out her right hand. Then the photo editor probably didn't use that one for the fight story. Joel
