non sense, T3i is pretty capable camera!

one minor flaw regarding this lens:

My Tamron 70-300 VC had serious problem with front focusing, i had to set +10 on WIDE focal range to solve all problems with AF (canon 70D) ! I tested two of these lenses on two different cameras (canon 70d and canon 1Ds Mark II)
and both lenses had the same problem = same solution (MFA)..

I've had two copies of this lens and both were pretty sharp and quick focuses. I'm actually looking at another Tamron lens because of the good luck I've had with this one. Weird that you've had consistent issues though.

And I have the T3, not T3i, slight differences but I'd agree. Even the T3 is pretty capable, especially for it's price range. I'm looking into a 70d-7d or so in the future, in one to two years. I need to do some more research and see what suits me best though.

But to contribute more to the thread :D

Wow guys, thanks for the kind words. This lens has been great to me. These shots are cropped, but I was able to get pretty close. I was walking my dogs yesterday and decided to take my camera with me just in case and got lucky. I chased this guy around for a while but these two from where I first found him were the best of the set.

Many of the example images from the Tamron 70-300mm VC lens have demonstrated that the lens has no deficiencies when used to capture moving subjects. Here are more examples.

If you need the additional light -gathering ability of a f/2.8 lens, that is the direction to turn. Otherwise, the only observed defect of the Tamron 70-300mm VC lens is that its price may leave too much money in your pocket and you may need a new wallet.
