I'll start. This clump, with split caps, popped up three days ago or so at the base of a big urban street tree. I'd never seen this kind before.

Fungi are so diverse and (sometimes) beautiful, it surprised me that they didn't already have a thread of their own, apart from individual specimens. This is a stinkhorn I posted in Macro last summer:

When conditions are right we find the Morels on our farm each spring, normally around mid April until May 10th, these were a first find in spring of 2012 and like all the others we find, went straight to the frying pan.
