Thanks Dave, I think because the wetlands are in a residential development they may be more accustomed to humans.

Nice shots, but your Sharp shinned hawk is Cooper's hawk. Did you all miss me? LOL

I went through some of my old pictures trying to find samples that would show what it is I see that tells me it is a Cooper's hawk.
This first shot is a Sharp shinned hawk

Note the thicker legs on the Coopers hawk, and sharpies always has that wimpy looking face, their beak is just not as powerful.

Think they should just blend them and call 'em Sharp-Coopers-lol. Very nice raptor shots, John.
