I knew this thread had to exist! It's just that it's been quiet for a few years. Glad I found it.

I'll add this picture that you may have seen in other threads as a way to keep the Einstein thread growing!

Awesome! I am trying to shoot something like this, a race from a distance. What modifier/reflector did you use and how many strobes?

From the shadows, I'd guess a couple of Einsteins camera right and left with 8 or 11 inch reflectors.

The first pic, I used 4 Einsteins, three of them were bounce fired off the ceiling, one camera left more direct.

Second photo, 4 Einsteins two directed at the bucking chutes the other two bounced off the ceiling.

Third photo, 3 Einsteins one camera left, main behind camera with long throw reflector, the other camera right.

All set up with standard 7" reflectors except the one noted with the LT.

Sorry guys, I know I'm not posting pics here, but I'm just too excited about having ordered 2 Einsteins last night. These are my first step into studio lights, so I only added the reflectors to my order. Does anyone have suggestions on modifiers they like, how are the barn doors (should I get the mount with them)? Any input from users would be awesome. I didn't see an Einstein thread, so feel free to guide me to it if so. Love the pics, hope to be adding to it soon.

Get the LiteMod frames which have the reflector built in and will allow easy attachments of the accessories. The Barn Doors, Snoots, frames, etc are all excellent quality and well worth the cost. The gel holders are a must and the grids are very handy.

I'm a newborn photographer, I don't think there are many on here but I'll share anyway. I just bought my Einstein at the end of January so I'm still new to this. I'm using a Westcott 50x50 Softbox
