So my run in to Shreveport yesterday was a day to remember for me. If anyone happen to see the game, Ken Griffey Jr was getting a bit of air time on ESPN since his son was playing for Arizona. I just happen to be the guy standing next to him the whole game. Was a fun sequence of events that led to that. I'll post the link to my blog with the that story if you care to read…but it was a fun day for sure. And yes…his Nikon set up with the 400 dwarfed my 300…but hey…what can I say. He's a tad better off than me. :-)

Some shots and a fun picture to boot:

I use Canon gear...have several bodies and lenses and am quite pleased with them.

I did catch that on Sportscenter! My first thought was, "Griffey's into photography? Oh, he shoots Nikon."

Great story!

Was definitely a day I won't forget any time soon. I did email the pics to him I got of his son and he responded thanking me...really nice, down-to-earth guy for sure. Even if he was shooting with Nikon gear. ;-)a
