What a great game. I am very glad conference play has started to get some real competition up in the Kohl Center. It just wasn't as fun when they were beating everyone by 30 points. Iowa played the Badgers extremely tough, but a second half Badgers run coupled with Fran going nuts was enough to keep the Badgers undefeated at 15-0.

Steve, love your photos! Keep up the great work. #2, #3 & #8 are my favorites. Watched the game on the BIG TEN NETWORK. Looked like the photogs were packed in fairly tight. Were you positioned right next to the basketball "backstop" (as they call it)? Who was using the house strobes, DS?

Yep, I usually try and grab the spot closest to the basket if I am there early enough. I find that spot generally has the least amount of ref behind to deal with. The only downside is you get the lights right in the rim as shown on #7. And you are correct, David is the senior photog for the Badgers so he gets the house strobes. In the future, I am going to see about using them for games he isn't able to make it, but I'm assuming for the rest of the Big Ten conference play he will probably be shooting at most of the games.

Thanks for the comment.
