this thread is amazing, I went through all the pages and, what can I say, congrats everyone for creativity, skill, postproduction techniques...really great stuff!

^^ Nice shot...however, I have no idea what the bottle is sitting on...how is the flash showing up through it? I love these setup shots, I just sometimes wish there was a little explanation at what was going on and what was being used. But maybe I am the only one! Great shot!

I think for those not using artificially lights we need to post screens caps or at least describe the post production work. :)

Sorry, I'll give you the explanation:
the flash is below a semi transparent plastic board (ikea stuff),
the white background is simple cardboard and the black one is there to get rid of window reflections.
The camera was on the tripod (not seen because I used it for the setup shot), I used my 60D with 17-55.
