Its one of those lenses thats in my bag for the last 7 years and from crop to full frame have never gone for anything else. I simply love it

17-40 is not very wide on a crop... I would go for the 10-22 if I were staying on a crop for a while. It is a stellar lens and it is truly UWA. You can get pretty reasonable prices for a 10-22..heck, I've got one for sale. Ping me if you are interested.
