How interesting to see a shot from here in-town! I've often wanted to "grab" these but haven't gotten around to it, you did good!

Thanks Tony! :)

Love those, Pete!!!

Thank you very much. The misses and I were riding along and noticed the overfow at a local lake that is beside a golf course. So I pulled in to get some shots. AS I was walking back to the car those two nice folks pulled up and got out with that umbrella. I knew instantly I wanted the focal point to be the umbrella. So I grabbed a couple and was gone. I wish now, even though it was absolutely pouring down that I would have talked to them and set up a few shots. Oh well, lesson learned.

The color ones just do not do it in this case. Even though they themselves were quite colorful young folks.

Absolutley a great shot. He is very handsome and photogenic. And you do a marvelous job capturing him. You ought to be an infant photographer if you are not already

Thanks Pete , I think he's handsome too :) . I'm a civil engineer but have thought of maybe doing infant photography as a sideline but a bit scared to take the plunge

Nice image, Husky. I am working on bettering my macro. The thin depth of field is pretty difficult to work with, but the results can be amazing.

I'm going to add a shot actually taken during the first week since my goal for this year is to go out and get all those I've been meaning to shoot this and that.

I actually hit 2 spots in one day that I'd been meaning to shoot.

1/52 (I'll just call the first shot I posted 0/52 and throw in the last shot of the year as another bonus shot).

Not a productive week for me, In a matter of three days, I had a root canal procedure done, came down with the flu, and got bit by a big ass spider :(.

Love that shot!

Here's week 3. One of the tasks of my 52 is getting Photoshop up to scratch - I fear there's a lot of learning to be done, but I have to start somewhere.
