Hey everyone! I was just looking around B&H and found the EF-S 10-22 for 450 used in 9/10 condition. I'm still up in the air whether I should keep my Sigma 10-20 or send it back and buy this...hmmm. I like the fact that there is a little bit more range in the Canon and its a little bit faster as well. The only thing about the Canon that scares me is the build quality compared to the Sigma. This just seems like too good a deal to pass up

I love my EF-S 10-22. Very sharp. Don't use it much after going to a 5D, but I'll keep it as long as I have my 40D as a back-up.

The price they are asking sound like a good deal?

I've never bought used, but if it's 9/10 and you can save $200 over a new one, that sounds pretty good to me. But I've never compared it to the Sigma.

I wouldn't consider selling mine for that price.

it sells direct from canon refurbished for $520 right now...i believe that comes with a 1 year warranty...so basically you would pay $70 for a 1 year warranty...it's probably not a great deal...but it's not terrible either...

They are brand new on Amazon for $529 right now.

I was going to buy used but just went ahead and bought a new one since it was that cheap.

Edit: Well, it was that cheap. Guess I got a good deal

Dont worry about the canon's build quality. Ive had it for 4 years and its still fine. Its been through disaster areas, light rain, violent demonstrations and its working as good as the day i got it.

IMO, the best ultra wide for a crop. Good deal you got there, congrats.

This has only ever worried me when I've been contemplating using a lens as a hockey puck.
