Frodge, seriously, you found minor issues on your T3i and now the 60D. Why don't you just purchase a Nikon and be done with it.

I actually considered this at one point, but nikon are even worse. I wonder if there is an aftermarket company that creates grip material from leather and other materials as well. There was a company I used for my yashica that I cannot recall the name of, but they did not make any for dslrs.

I have 60D bought new in Nov 2012 and it has no peeling. Even if it does it's nothing that 5 minutes and some silicone adhesive won't fix. I'd be more worried about the "No card in camera" error you might get someday although I don't see many posts about that issue anymore.

I work in the Computer field and am very aware of electronic failures. Not a concern. These grips. Time to buy a handful of them.

LOL I was wondering who would catch on to that. Don't worry, we can fix that card issue with some contact cleaner and compressed air.........maybe

I have analysis paralysis. How many spare grips both front and rear do you keep in your parts boxes?

2 years old with 14k clicks and no issues at all.

Canon 70D/70-200 f4/17-55 2.8/BG-E9/430EZ I like DSLR's. It makes a distinction between photo fans and normal people who don't give a damn how a picture could look like

It looks like yours is a little loose near the focus point selection buttons as well. It's raised. Push it down lightly with toothpick ad you'll see it has some movement.

I once got that error. After a brief panic attack I put an SD card in the camera and experienced relief and satisfaction.
no need for a poll !!!!

only had a front peeling problem on mine. i bought it in 2010, the peeling started showing itself around late 2012 or very early 2013. fortunately, canon (philippines) replaced the grip for free since it was under the 3-year warranty program.

Good grief. You really need to get a grip on your paranoia. There is nothing, not one thing, wrong with the camera in that photo.
