Nice shot. I believe though that that is lunch for the Cooper's hawk courtesy of the Cooper's hawk. Funny thing is a friend of mine got a shot of a hawk eating a pigeon next to a concrete parking structure yesterday in Newport Beach, CA. Almost like this one except the pigeon was just about gone, a pile of feathers.

Thank you! I just wanted to acknowledge that IDing the Cooper's hawk was courtesy of some of the fine folks here at PotN. (I'd gotten it ID'd in a different thread.)
