good job... for head shots .
.. eye sockets are dark
... need catchlights
.... clean reflections in glasses.
.... darken hot spot on forehead.

It is solid work.
I would have liked to see a kicker light from the left. The eyes do get a little lost in shadows, but it isn't bad.
The pose on #4 just doesn't look flattering for a guy, to me.

Agreed, but he was as camp as they come and was adament vogueing and pulling camp poses...


Thanks for the comments guys.. I had problems with reflections in the glasses whenever I tried to get catch lights... I thought it was the better compromise for the situation..

I did use a reflector... But because of the space limitations and I wanted a grey background ( it was white paper) I had to have the light source incredibly close to him.. So got alo of falloff which included what came back off the reflector.. Damn you inverse square law!! LoL

Same gripe with the dark eyes but with that being said I also think they look really nice and given with what you had to work with they are very solid.
