Saturday was probably the best powder day of the season so far here in Colorado, with virtually every resort getting hammered. I decided to stay away from the big Front Range resorts like Vail, Breckenridge, Keystone, etc (and thus avoid the crowds) and headed southwest to Monarch instead. A 6" morning report turned into easily 15-20" in most places, with some easterly aspects having 30 inches or more. I got my new 6D a few days earlier, so this is my first attempt at skiing shots with the new camera. So far, I love it.

There are more on my website if you want to look through the whole set... just click on any one of the pictures.

If somehow we could get that amount of snow in Quebec. It's been raining on and off for the last weeks. Great images.

Nice shots Steve! We were up in Steamboat with pretty good snow all weekend as well.

I like the images. The only thing that bothers me is that images 1, 3, 5; the skier has more space behind him and less space in front. It makes for an awkward composition.
