If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.

This lens is very suitable for landscape and It can do portrait photography (without background blur) as 24-40mm as well?

I get a Canon 17-40mm today, the original hood is very short, it can't protect my 17-40mm, I need longer hood for it. What longer hood can be used for Canon 17-40mm?

What cheap filter (under 40USD) can be used well for this lens?
