Ya know want Dan, It's worth getting up early and driving the winter road's just to spend time with the wild life for a day. And ya just might see some friend's along the way.

The Visiter Centre is a great place to warm up and have lunch.

What a great shot!

Very very nice Jeff. With all the Snowy Owls flying around the forum a nice reminder that there are other owls. :)

Totally agree. They talk about the Snowy Owl on the news all the time. They are everywhere, except where I am!

There will be days when you get the shot(s) you missed days, months or years before.

Great capture!

I spent the New Years with my daughter just outside of Kingston and went over to Amherst Island one day that it sort of cleared up. Did a quick tour of Owl woods and saw nothing! LOL

There were a couple of people there at the same time and they said the same thing, since the ice storm went through they had not seen many owls.

Oh well, someday..

Meanwhile keep posting these, they're great.

That's Sandy, I hear ya, the hunt is what makes it all worthwhile.
