iOS Apple based, android from Google, windows based or other.
This poll is mainly intended for photographers who very often use the act of photographing people, events etc the main part of their job, photography or art.
Those who never take people or event pics can vote of course but I would prefer no to.
Just trying to find what system photographers of people use more
Thanks

Well, I photograph people and I use an iPhone 4.

I have no idea how that is going to be of any use to anybody though, as neither has the remotest thing to do with the other. I have an iPhone because a friend was upgrading to an iPhone 5 and I got his old one at a good price. I could just as easily be using Android or Windows.

My phone has nothing to do with my photography, except in the vague sense that I use it to phone or text people, some of whom I may be photographing. However, the actual photography is done with a DSLR, not a phone.

The question is about as relevant to my photography as "what kind of TV do I have" or "what car do I drive".

Just edit your original post with that info.

Ernesto,

Here is a pretty interesting bit of data:

Does that answer your question regarding ownership for the particular market share of "photographers"? No, but it gives you a good idea of the trends. In general, the "artist" type has typically been an Apple customer there is a possibility that there actually are more photographer owners of iOS phones than Android.

My opinion would be that you have better chances of success by serving both operating systems. At least then, you have greater than 90% of the market as a potential customer.

I've always loved Linux so Android is a plus in my book, I like Apple stuff also even though I don't use it.

A while back the power button on my phone stopped working. I accidentally dropped it into a cup of water, thankfully that was the only thing that wasn't functioning. Instead of sending it sprint for a $150 fix I just simply changed the coding to allow me to use the search button as a power function. Works great and I never used the search key anyways.

Being able to do all that from just the terminal in a couple of seconds was wonderful.
