I have a question. What is it called when the subject has part of it blurred when panning. It's bugging me, as I can't remember and I can't get an answer on Google!

That would be parallax. The slower the shutter speed and the greater the angle to the subject in relation to the camera's sensor, the greater the effect.

Good example of parallax here too…nose to middle couldn't be sharper…tail SUCKS! Just something we have to live with at slow shutter speeds! This is 1/60
