Reviewing some of last years shots and came across this one from the Ridgefield NWR. They are at times ungainly looking but still an elegant critter.

Dave: That's a lovely shot of the GBH. I don't see many shots from this angle that still manage to get the head in the shot and the breeding plumage. Great detail and exposure.
