Well, as a new forum member and a new 6D owner, I just pored over hundreds of images in this section. I can't begin to tell you how impressed, intimidated, and inspired I am by what I've seen. The range and quality is just extraordinary.

With some trepidation, I'll post a couple of pictures I took earlier in the week with the 6D. These were with a 35-105 non-L lens that I've since upgraded to the 24-105 F:4l.

A couple of old, vacant buildings I pass on the back roads when I drop my dog off to be boarded:

Since i'm a huge pusher of this lens i'll go ahead and throw this here also...:D

The lens...the 35mm F/2 IS USM

Ignore the exposure, it sucks, the purpose of this test was how low you can hand hold the lens and still retain sharpness.

Considering i'm a pretty shaky guy as of recently the best i could do handheld was 1/4 of a second.

This shot is SOOC with the default camera sharpness setting of 3.
