Hi All-

I recently began experimenting with B&W photography and wanted your opinion on which plug-in is best, as I used LR5 for my photo editing. I've only seen Nik's Silver EFX Pro and it seems quite good. Are there any other one's out there? Thanks much for the advice.:)

Personally, I use Silver Efex and I really like it if I am going for a certain look.

However, it doesn't do much that you can't already do in Lightroom with adjusting levels and curves.

That being said, the Nik plugin set (I think google only sells the whole package) is a really good deal with Color and Analog Efex. (HDR Efex isn't bad either)

Photography is just a hobby for me.

I'm using Topaz B&W effects, which has a lot of presents, and plenty of options allowing you to get creative. I'm not an expert on it yet, but so far I'm happy.
