Lucia - Swimsuit

Hey all! I have been away for quite some time from the forums. I am currently taking a photo class and decided to post post some pics I thought you guys would like.

NICE!!!! Can you describe your lighting setup? All ambient? Reflector? Diffuser only? Seems like you shot with fairly wide aperture. Did you use an ND filter? LOVING THESE SHOTS. great job

Hmmmmmm,
Much as I admire the model and the processing work involved, there are a couple of features that niggle at me when I view the images:
Image 1 - although there is space above the head, the angle makes it appear as though she is bending to fit in the crop. The horizon is also sloping, enough away from horizontal to be noticeable and not enough to be dramatic for the image. The fall off in the light is noticeable on her hands, where they look very dark compared to the rest of her body.
Image 3 - really like this, just noticed that the fingers are clipped at the top.
Image 4 - another beautiful pose, but the crop across the knees doesn't appear to be at the best point.
Please don't consider the points as a criticism, they are just points that I would personally attempt to correct to suit my preferences.

1 - yup, that's the point, original has more space and is actually a landscape. However to get the eyes of the internet we need to focus on what we are all here to see... beautiful women!

3. doesn't bother me, makes no difference IMO.

4. I would agree with you, i might crop it closer up. I just wanted to show more leg...
