Quick question guys!
I am hoping to drive over on Monday. Right now the forecast is overcast skye with a high of -7.
If the forecast changes to sunny I am 99% certain I am going.
Is there a "too low" of temperature? would the eagles not be active at such a low temperature? I would hate to drive almost 4 hours for nothing.
The last time I went out and didn't see any eagles was during heavy snow. Almost like all the birds, geese and ducks included, took shelter. It was snowing pretty heavy that day.
The problem with those types of low temps will be the fog coming off of the water which will be much warmer.
I took this pic when it was -10 out. Fog is worse the closer you are to the dam.
