Jan 28, 2014 07:27 | #67 ya it was pretty bad, so I went to the island so the camera wouldn't get so much moisture. It was out of the wind and less fog. 7d, 7dII, 100-400 canon L, 17-55mm f/2.8 IS

Jan 30, 2014 14:28 | #68 a couple from rock falls yesterday, been a good week/month. Yesterday there was one sitting in a tree and let me get out and set up without flying away. I was sitting in the truck when it first swooped down and tried to steal a fish from a goose and fly back to the tree, but now I was ready. Soon it moved down to another tree but I kept watch on it. While talking with someone I noticed it swoop down again but couldn't get zoomed out & it was too close. So I am learning to be patient lately and with reward. I noticed another ME come down into the wind this time, at a perfect distance but it happened quick and the camera was a little tilted and focus wasn't perfect, but I did get it in the frame this time. 7d, 7dII, 100-400 canon L, 17-55mm f/2.8 IS

Feb 01, 2014 08:01 | #69 Let's hope February is a good month as well. Looks like the numbers are up at L&D 14 so I think that's a good sign for Rock Falls as well. With the snow storm today I won't be there but tomorrow is a good possibility. Looks like it's suppose to be a sunny day as well.
