How many alien bees? also soft box?

I walked around the car with a single b800 with the standard reflector and then blended everything in PS.

More summer automotive work. Makes this blizzard bearable.

Any lighting info/tips on these shots? Was trying to get these done for a restaurant and I couldn't get the effect that I wanted.

Thanks man! This was part of a tour we did showcasing the best bartenders and drinks in the area. Here's another I just finished up.

This was really a run and gun shot because of the time. I had a 4ft octa cam right and the standard 7" bowl cam left slightly behind the drinks, but I really had to work with the placement of the lights though because they either spilled too much or too little light on the background. I just wanted to make sure I separated the bottles from the background in camera. I also took another shot of the Angel Envy bottle backlit to get a nice color from the liquid. Then the rest is just heavy post work.

Great shots everyone!

IMAGE: http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8081/8297524492_7ce5b3aac8_b.jpg

Here's one with 3 Alien Bees 800.
Main with a big soft box and grid.
2 kickers with stripboxes and grids.

This was shot for a christmas postcard of a TV show called ZTOP TV (external link)

Being in the caribbean, snow is not our thing. However, we manage to get that effect with foam particles flying around by a fan.

Hope you guys like it!

What triggers is everyone using for their bees? About to purchase a 1600 and 800 from a friend.

I have some cheapie triggers that have sync ports but wondering if I should get a set of radiopoppers to have the ability to change output from camera.

I use the cybersyncs. If you want remote power control, consider the cybersync's along with the cyber commander. Radio poppers have sort of fallen along the wayside of late.
