The 300-800 is quite a specialised large and unweildy lens from what I understand.

Dave, you're welcome to borrow my Spyder 4 to give it a go if you like - I'm only a couple of blocks from you. I also have a DTP94 if anyone wants to borrow/buy it, it's not suitable for LED monitors but works fine for CF backlight monitors.

SO this is typical of me of late. Asking a favour.....

Does anyone have either a 70-200 or a 300 (prime) that they would be happy to lend to me for this Saturday. I will pay $50 bucks for the privelege. I can pick up early Saturday morning and drop back off Saturday evening. I am shooting with one other person (an experienced tog) and he'll likely use the lens for some work too. He's more than trustworthy (he is a friend of mine) and I am happy to accept responsibility if anything happens.

Edit: Feel free to PM me or txt me on 2074 079 233. Thanks.

Thanks,

Cliff
P.S. Why are you guys getting technical on the forum again - what the heck is calibration? :)

The impossible has begun - another step closer - and I am very hungry for it.

I have a 70-210 F4 Canon, but I am sure my location doesn't suit you and I am not sure what camera you need it to work on

In other news, the X-Rite display gadget is pretty awesome and works very well. ;)

Cheers, Dave.

I like my 50D and can't afford anything new.

Akiwi - I was working around it by using the battery grip shutter but it was awkward and difficult for action shots
