Looks like a fairly nice day. :^] The big thing over here these days are the fat tired MTBs, like pugleys. Those guys will ride them anywhere, anytime, and they are NUTZ.

Normally, I see riders this time of year with some face protection (balaclava - or something like it).
I know I was cold, what the pic doesn't show is how gusty windy it was that day.
I think anyone riding in that is NUTZ, although sometimes I wish I was doing it, cuz sometimes, Fun trumps Nutz.

we had a huge group trail ride this past Saturday but I unfortunately couldn't join. Heard there were multiple fat bikes leading (breaking trail) for the rest of the crew. full on blizzard conditions...kinda bummed I missed it.

I saw a couple of fat tire bikes plowing through the metro parks near Strongsville on Saturday... Pretty cool

yep, those fat bikes are all the rage now. As soon as we get through this deep freeze, I'm sure more riders will be out. Supposed to be 30 on Saturday :)
That pic was in CVNP - along the towpath.

I actually think I race against that guy in the summer. Explains why he is so fast...he's hammering on the towpath and I'm, well, not...:o Hope you've been well my friend!

When we lived in PA, I cycled 200 miles a week, every week, for a couple of years. I was much younger then. I did have the proper gear so it wasn't really that big of a deal. Cleaning up my bike was more of a problem than the actual riding. The highway department uses a lot of salt on the roads during the winter. What a mess after a long ride.

I may try to get out this weekend as well. As it goes with me, now matter how much time on the trainer, once you get outside it's a different story.
Wishing y'all good weather for a ride this weekend!

I thought just for grins and giggles, I'd go riding, my oh my, all I did was go slip and slide all over the road, I thought I had fairly aggressive tires. I thought wrong. When is it gonna be spring?????:)
