rezcar Goldmember More info | Using the 70-300 L + Kenko Pro TC 1.4 on my 7D I would get locked out of continuous shooting. I took it off the camera and just used the lens and was back up to burst shots immediately. Fotostream

I took it off the camera and just used the lens and was back up to burst shots immediately. After I put the TC back on, I could only shoot one picture at a time again. It also did something funny where after each shot, the viewfinder would shake (the picture). The lens AF was working back and forth rapidly for about 10 seconds. I sent it back, is the MC4 version of the Kenko any better? I can't answer your question about the MC4 version - but your experience sounds consistent with any other reviews I've encountered... rapid AI Servo shooting with the Kenko is likely unheard of... I lost a couple of sequences of eagle takeoffs b/c I got to greedy seeking the extra reach and got a lot of blur instead. I could see using it for tripod mounted moon shots or MF stuff, but not a great combo with the 70-300. ![]() IMAGE LINK: http://ct1co2.smugmug.com/2014-Random-Pics/i-pHG2jH4/A ![]() 7D2 | 6D2 | 10-22 | 15-85is | Σ18-35 | Rokinon 14 2.8 | 16-35isL | 24-70isL | 85 1.8 | 100-400 II L | Σ150-600 C | 430ex |
