Collection Rebuild Telephoto

So here goes...
Sold all of my equipment a little over a year ago (to go back to school) and walked away from photography. Kept a 60D, 580exI and a kit lens for no particular reason other than I just didn't feel like selling them. Fast forward to now and the itch is too great and the kit lens isn't going to cut it anymore.
Just picked up a sigma 17-50.
I was primarily a 1D3 shooter before.
Now that I am shooting with a 60D(Might pick up a 7D later this year) I have some questions about telephoto lenses.
I have had these lenses in the past
-Canon 70-200 F4 and F2.8 IS V1
-Sigma 70-200 f2.8 non os v2
This time I have decided to try to keep things as easy and light to carry as possible (had a problem before where I wouldn't shoot because I didn't feel like lugging my gear around). So these are the three lenses I am considering
Canon 70-200 F4
Sigma 70-200 F2.8 non os
Sigma 50-150 f2.8 hsm II non os
I know how two of the three perform on the 1d2/3 but have no clue how they will perform on the 60D. I have went through each thread in the sample photo section, the online database and my database to try and see how the pics looked but that doesn't give a good idea of how they actually perform. So give me your opinions of how each of these perform on a crop camera. I plan to shoot everything from people to sports to general purpose. The main reason I like all three is cost. Lots of bang for the buck and I'm not getting paid to shoot anymore so I can be a little more forgiving.

My concern is that the 60D has no micro adjust. While you may have never found a need to use it before, buying a second hand lens might require it. The 7D has it, but has also had some issues with needing the Sigma lens to be sent back to be re-chipped to work with the camera. I would say your safe bet is the Canon version. By most accounts, its a very sharp accurate lens.

Sigma now has a dock that allows you to correct focus issues yourself so that is no longer a problem.

Does it work with the older lenses? I wasn't aware that it did. That would be sweet, makes me more interested in the entire sigma line up if this is true.EDIT

It shares which lens are able for you to use with the dock, and none above that you listed look to be on that list

get a 300mm f/2.8 IS & be done with it...

Nope, only Art (and the newer versions with the matte finish) are adjustable via the dock.

Had the non-IS version before. Was a great lens but not the best for walking around casually taking pics.

Thanks for pointing out that you can't use the dock for those lenses. I only did a little research into it.

Still keeping all three on the table. I have time to send the lens in if needed.
