Medium format digital is a fickle mistress. It will point out every flaw with your lighting technique. But when you get it right, it's absolutely stunning.

Great shots and a very lovely model. I just wish she'd open her eyes in some of the shots.

I hope you don't my just zoning in on one area of critique, especially given that these are test shots. But her expression in some of these are just unintentionally (presumably) funny. Number 2 in particular looks like what someone might do to mock a photographer telling them to do a sultry look. Her expression (eyes, mouth, hands) just render the image into being comical rather than sultry fashion.

Is this one better in place of number 2?

I'm thrown by her rather ample lips, there is a deep shadow under them in every pic, so they look even more pronounced. Not sure how that might be addressed, but I can't see past them

I think your lighting is very impressive in these. I have trouble shooting people on couches, because I can seem to eliminate unwanted shadows being cast upon a portion of the couch from the model blocking the light... would you care to share your lighting setup please?
