Great shots. All of them. I love tanks as well. My dad was drafted out of high school to go to war in WWII. He was in a tank. I forget all the info. I would have to pull out his book. But I remember all the stories he told me. Well most of them.

Hey guys,
thanks a lot for all the feedback, really made me happy.
I think that when you photograph something that you are truly passionate about, the photos will always (well, almost always) be better. So even though Im longer in active duty, and sometimes, talking about the army after you finished isnt considered, well, "cool, I still had great time taking these pictures.
glad you all liked them, I think you will prefer watching the rest of the shots in my flickr gallery other than waiting for another batch every few days..

I think you are right about being pationet about a subject gets you better pictures.
