Hi all, quick question about using the EF 35-80 on my 6D, will that autofocus? It works fine on my 1D Mark II and I just wanted to check if it would on the 6D..

Cheers.

I have an even older EF 35-70 circa 1988(?) which works with my 60D and 5DIII. It's hunting like crazy in lowlight and the (stepper?) motor it's using for AF is coarse enough that sometimes it can't make up its mind, but it 'works'.

Why would you think it wouldn't work? All EF lenses will work on any EOS body.

If steroids are illegal for athletes, should PS be illegal for models?
Digital - 50D, 20D IR Conv, 9 Lenses from 8mm to 300mm
Analog - Mamiya RB67 Pro-SD, Canon A-1, Nikon F4S, YashicaMat 124G, Rollei 35S, QL17 GIII, Zeiss Ikon Ikoflex 1st Version, and and entire room full of lenses and other stuff

Brainfart, just wanted to check just to make sure as didn't know if the 6D would work due to new tech or whatever.

Thanks for the help guys, good to know I can use it for when I need it.
