Thanks for the advice, tried it, didn't work. :( I'll just wait a few days for the CF card reader. BTW I am using the latest EOS Utility and I am running it on Windows 8.

Your problem is with the version of the EOS utility. I believe that as of the 2.12.2 version they did away with support for the 5D and some other older cameras, but added support for the EOS-M and some other newer models. If you want to connect to the 5D and don't have any other newer cameras you might be able to find an earlier version, 2.10.something, on line and load that or see if someone at a local camera club has the dvd with the older version.

Well I recently went from a 7D/5d2 setup. Most of my work is for online magazines so Ive never needed all the MP. Or the speed of a 7D as most of my work is automotive portraiture or glamour. So I traded my 7D for a low mileage 5dc. I love the look of the files from my 5dc for sure. Kinda hard to explain. Im pretty sure Im going to sell my 5d2 and pick up a 5d3 shortly thought as the low light on this is so so. The 5d2 isn't much better either. And I really want a better low light AF for my night time rolling shots. The 7D was also not good lol.

I've never shot at 1600 or 3200 ... so i was curious myself and just did a simple snapshot. Two jpg files (ISO 1600 and 3200) coming your way ...
