Hey everyone! Decided to do a shoot all day with some willing friends to add to my portfolio. Also using a new skin retouching technique. It takes a bit longer but doesn't seem to kill pixels or make it look smudgy. Hope you like!

I like first one the best. I like smiling subjects in general. She's not conveying any sort of mood to me.

Two of them are using one light and maybe a reflector. Two have a kicker light.

They look like corporate shots. I like them. They would work well in a corporate portfolio.

I like the last 2 and more so #3. That's just the type of lighting that I like so it's strickly subjective. You say you used a new skin retouching technique but the images are so small that I can't really tell.

Thanks guys!
Yea, I'm not sure if clicking on them takes you to the bigger sized flickr images. It does for me. Yoiu should be able to see the images in greater detail there.

#2 is a really strong image. He's engaged. appears strong/confident. His face is well lit, but the image retains enough contrast and dark areas to add some drama. Well done.

I don't particularly care for images like #4 where people are not looking at the camera. IMO if a subject is not engaged with the camera the viewer should be able to share in what is engaging the subject. Otherwise it just doesn't connect for me.
