Welcome to the forum. Really like #2. The bright spot on the ball grabs my eye in #1and is distracting. My eye should be drawn to the person and the clouds (jmho) as I work through the photo.

Yea the ball is annoying me too. This was shot just before we had a game of soccer. Would look a lot better if he had a spear or something :D

stunning work....

I love the emotion and gesture you have caputured in the expressions... far more important then any technical aspect of the image...

The critiques already mentioned are merely nit picks...

I bet the off camera flash is making it look so (assuming off camera flash was used)

Great images!

On camera flash was used for the first photograph (Soccer player) and 50mm was used with no flash for the others. These are composites however as none of the images where staged. I shot the subject and shot the background in the same location in order to get the images I wanted. I suppose a good composite is one thats hard to recognise :D well done short wave.

Here is two more images.

No disrespect intended David! They are great images, I just noticed that had a very surreal feel to them, which I like. I find your first image (man with soccer ball) to be really great. I like the juxtaposition! :)
