Here is a test scene generated with MarScaperHDR and finished in PS. The tonal compression in MarScaper is very straightforward and produces gently compressed output for further processing. It is a very intuitive and efficient process - I did not precondition the images (raw) but just dropped them into MarScaper and output the merge to PS as a 16bit TIFF.

The image is in AdobeRGB. Had to work on my laptop display, trapped at home following yet another snow storm in the Philadelphia area.

My software is quite young and grew up step by step. I'm now working on the next release with drawing brush for manual exposure blending directly on HDR… :)
