Shameless attempt to increase my post count. :p

Shot in the back alleys of Sydney, near lowenbrau, an excellent german restaurant in the rocks area near the harbour bridge.

Continued.

The focus in the first image is on her shins :(

Happens to me more often than I'm comfortable with with the f1.2 lens

Continued.

FYI I want to give a shout out to the excellent app jpegmini (www.jpegmini.com (external link)).

These images were compressed with it. I saved in photoshop with jpeg maximum/10 setting and resulted in an average file size of 160kb (color). Jpegmini compressed it to about 100-120kb with no loss in quality (that I can detect). The BW image started out at 120k and ended up at 75k after jpegmini. I don't know what their algorithm is, but it's magic!

With extremely high resolution files at 100% zoom I do detect a very very slight, almost imperceptible (did I see that or did I dream it kind) of softening in fine details but for non-critical images it's great. You can set it to run and replace the original images or place the compressed images in a different folder and keep the originals intact. It does magic on jpg images taken from a phone camera. I'll post before/after samples if anyone is interested.

@08photog: The lighting on the staircase was challenging. The lighting on the wall is yellow while the lighting below the stair handle is white LED.

I think it is a nice set, it is too bad about the focus, but at a quick glance most non-photographers wouldn't notice.
i would work on white balance a bit though, when you post all the images together, the differences in skin tone and the clothing really stand out...
