well I finally got out and did a game
forgot how bad movement is with no room on baseline

I was all over the place with exposure wb
but I stayed pretty much at 1600 which is high for me
2.8 which is normal
1/640

mixed results
dont think I got focus down yet but they do look sharper I think
wb is all over the place ( I need to do custom wb but to stupid)
PP was a pain with colors and wb and Im still not good at PP

but I can see in some shots its a lot better
not where I want but I can see IQ is better
now I I dont run off the road going around the learning curve
and all were jpeg
LR 4 wont read raw from 70d
I did the converter thing once takes forever and its another step I have to do
and it takes me long enough to pp anyway

a few of the better ones
no real keepers anyway

c and c as always
be brutal It makes me better

OMG my eyes hurt, Ease off the Contrast and watch the Histogram when your editing to make sure you don't peak. You either have a bad Monitor or you tried to hide the noise by killing the blacks. The only thing i disagree with when it comes to Jared Polin, he always kills his blacks.

Going back through my files from a couple weeks ago, I am just amazed at how well the focusing of the 70D held up to the quick action of the bald eagles.

I have to say looking at some of the images in this thread makes me feel like my PP still isn't up to snuff. That or it's winter and everything is just so blah here.

Just got this awesome camera, I simply love it!, I had a 500D and I used to struggle on taking self portraits " selfies " but now with the swivel screen and the iPhone connectivity, I just do it whenever I'm bored or have nothing to shoot! I'm looking forward to take this camera outside to shoot some wild life! This is the first photo I've taken with it!

Almost overlooked low down on a fallen tree a dunnock skirted the area back and forth looking for food, and occasionally posturing on a small mossy perch...

You people. And your snowless places. Everything is white here. Always white. Never spring. I think we live in Narnia.

It sucks here in LA too. I've been wanting to go out during the day to shoot, but it's just too warm.

Narnia! HA! Know the feeling....10 inches in the backyard and another 3 coming at 0300 this morning. It is that time of year.
Too warm???? We broke freezing today, first time in weeks.
