Both are excellent, but I really, really like the polar bear shot.

Covered Bridge in Smyrna:

It has quickly become my most "liked" photo on facebook. The funny thing is that I almost didn't post it. I took the photo Thursday around noon, after most of the snow had melted. I had plans to hike to the bridge earlier, but I slept late and then was too lazy to make the 2 mile round trip. Later, I drove there. I didn't even take my photo gear - just threw the sx50 in the tuck with me and stopped for a couple of snapshots.

Use Google Maps and search "Concord Covered Bridge"
It is on Concord Road where it crosses Nickajack Creek. If you go, be sure to check out the Concord Woolen Mills ruins, which are close by.

Parking for the bridge isn't easy I suggest turning down Covered Bridge Road and finding a safe spot. For the ruins, you can park in the lot for the Silver Comet Trail. Walk down to the trail, turn left, go a couple hundred yards, and turn right on the obvious path leading down to the ruins.

The Silver Comet Trail also crosses over the creek (if you had turned right on it). Pretty cool to see from so high above. It was even cooler when I was a kid and it was an active train trestle, and we would cross it to get to the ruins.

They kept mentioning it on the news on the snow day, I guess some trees were down near there.
I had Travis' thought, where is that? I should check that out..ha!

If the weather is right this weekend, I might go check it out...could be a good LE scene! But maybe I need to wait until the trees are full...

I shall say no. But then again I haven't had to turn my cameras in for anything (thank God) and I have repair centers that are closer to me.
