Snowy Owl in Ontario

I was fortunate enough to 'find' a snowy owl on a drive looking for these beautiful birds yesterday at the back of Shelburne, Ontario. This one actually gave me two sittings - the first was when I saw him on the top of a derelict windmill, and then he flew off and swooped over my car about five minutes later a kilometer or so further down the road. It was stalking a goose. Once the goose eluded it, the snowy took off and flew away into the forests.

Beautiful images Greg. When I lived in Brampton I had no idea these owls were nearby.

You caught him in flight too.. Great shots. I only seem to see them perched on highway signs when I can't stop and don't have my camera with me.
