^on the 2nd image, the letters are flipped horizontally.
I assume you are using VueScan? If so, try to use everything manual under Color. Then, adjust the white point until either one of the color channels is slightly clipping the highlight, to the right. Then, adjust each of the color channels until all 3 are clipping slightly all the right to the right. This will, for 90% of the time, correct most of the color cast issue. During editing, you can further adjust the color balance in the mid tone and the shadows.
I tried using VueScan but never enjoyed the results. images always looked blurry but will give that a try and see how it goes.
What I'm doing right now is, scan on the V600 as TIFF, open in PS and run Auto Color and Tone and so far, quite happy with the result.
