I assume you are using VueScan? If so, try to use everything manual under Color. Then, adjust the white point until either one of the color channels is slightly clipping the highlight, to the right. Then, adjust each of the color channels until all 3 are clipping slightly all the right to the right. This will, for 90% of the time, correct most of the color cast issue. During editing, you can further adjust the color balance in the mid tone and the shadows.

I tried using VueScan but never enjoyed the results. images always looked blurry but will give that a try and see how it goes.
What I'm doing right now is, scan on the V600 as TIFF, open in PS and run Auto Color and Tone and so far, quite happy with the result.
Here's a Portra 160 scan

Is possible grain reduction is enabled??? You should have all features OFF, no grain reduction. No sharpening.

I am impressed PS Auto Color can do that much...:)

gave VueScan a try and wasn't overly happy, the scans looks a little flat and less sharp than the Epson software.
but I think I will use it when I want a 2nd opinion or the Epson software is not playing well with the neg.

Anyone need 2 rolls of Fuji Velvia 100f 120? I have two rolls here, new and unopened in their wrapping with the exp date 6/14. I bought them early last year in thinking about shooting slides but I can't see myself shooting slides at all. If you want them, pm me...
