Found this crab spider doing his best Daniel Larusso impression in my front yard yesterday afternoon.

@Toby: I thought so too. I’ve had very few encounters with Crab Spiders but in the times I have, they’ve been on flowers. When I first spotted it, it was walking on the ground away from a patch of mayweeds. I actually thought it was a pine weevil.. I tried to photograph it on the ground when it climbed up onto this stick.
