Enjoying those shots of Venice ...

Tiger Moth engine - taken with Tamron 70 300 VC as couldn't get closer. Virtual copies in Lightroom because no tripod handy, and the light very contrasty.

And this from Saturday - again very contrasty light, so virtual copies.
I didn't have much time to snatch this and unfortunately cut her foot off!

Great shots Rose!

Thanks Paul - the virtual process for fake HDR is very effective for that contrasty light I find. I couldn't face lugging my heavy tripod around, and there crowds of people anyway :-)

Nice light in that memorial image Paul. I've got some similar images, not of memorial, but where there's a combination of static and moving things, such as the flag. I've wondered about substituting just the single image of the moving bit, but I guess it would be too obvious.

You can de-ghost an image in photomatix. But my shots were all long exposures on top of it so the flag ends up being blurry anyway.

I guess it's integral to the image anyway :-) and natural for it to be moving.

I need to look into the intricacies of Photomatix - I tend to do pretty basic stuff, and sometimes discard images when I could probably play a bit more.
